Privacy & Analytics

MayaAds is a Canadian digital services company. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • Websites you submit: the URL you enter and publicly available content from that website (text, product details, colours, images) used to create your ads.
  • Generated content: the ads, copy and insights created for you.
  • Billing information: plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service: scanning your website, generating ads and letting you download them.
  • To manage accounts, free-ad limits, subscriptions and customer support.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • To understand how MayaAds is used and improve it.
  • To send service messages, such as sign-in codes and billing notices. We only send marketing emails with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also use privacy-friendly analytics to measure visits and feature usage in aggregate. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally or to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features such as sign-in may stop working if you do.

4. AI processing and service providers

To generate ads, website content and your instructions are sent to trusted AI model providers acting on our behalf. We also use providers for hosting, database, file storage, email delivery and payments. These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We require them to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

5. Retention

We keep account information and generated ads while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we must keep certain records (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

6. Security

We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections, access controls and private file storage. No online service is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada of any breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, as required by law.

7. Your rights

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Withdraw consent or ask us to delete your account and data.
  • Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied with our response.

8. Children

MayaAds is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you by email or on the site.
